How do I contact you about orders or issues?
We strive for a smooth and satisfying chocolate experience. If you have any questions or issues with your order, please reach out to us at info@encocoa.com for assistance.
Unfortunately, as a small business selling food, we are unable to accept returns. Refunds are offered on a case by case basis depending on the circumstances.
Do you sell chocolate wholesale?
We love to partner with shops, bakeries, coffee shops, wineries, and chocolate tasting folks. If you are interested in featuring our chocolate, please reach out to us through our contact form or by email at info@encocoa.com.
Can you accommodate special requests or custom orders?
We'd love to hear what you are interested in! As a new business, we currently have limited capacity to accommodate special requests but we are always open to inquiries.
How should I store my chocolate?
Our chocolate is shelf stable and should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Chocolate will melt and loose its temper when it gets too hot. That means it won't have a smooth, shiny texture when it hardens again. However, untempered chocolate can still be enjoyed as baking or drinking chocolate.
Does your chocolate contain any allergens?
Some of our chocolate products have added ingredients (known as inclusions) that contain allergens such as milk, nuts, sesame, and wheat. These will be identified on the label. Additionally, all our chocolate is made on shared equipment and may contain trace amounts of allergens, including milk, nuts, sesame, wheat, and eggs.
Are you bean to bar chocolate? What does that even mean?
Bean to bar generally refers to chocolate made in-house from cocoa beans rather than bulk chocolate.
Bean to bar makers like us pride ourselves on the craftsmanship involved in each step of making chocolate from scratch. The process of sourcing, roasting, winnowing, grinding, conching, tempering, and molding chocolate takes many days to complete but it offers the chance to create distinctive chocolate flavor profiles.
We are considered bean to bar but since we don't focus on chocolate bars, we often describe ourselves as craft chocolate makers.
